Our Food is made from high quality, responsibly sourced, local (where possible) ingredients.
All of our ingredients for our dishes are painstaikingly sourced by Sous Chef Mark. The Aberdeen Angus Beef on your Sunday Lunch was sourced from 23 different local small businesses until we found "Local Meat Locally of a consistently high standard".
All fish used in our bar snacks menu is sourced from MSC Fisheries. This means that the fishing is only taking place in areas that can support fishing and that only strict amounts of the product can be caught. You can rest assured that we are doing our bit to keep the Ocean's alive.
Local (where possible)
We try our best to get the best quality local ingredients. Where this is not possible we try to use local small businesses in the area where we get the ingredients from. The Honey we use is ISLIP HONEY Harvested in the local allotments and also available to purchase upon request. We use Project Abundance to augment our own home grown Vegetables and Herbs as well as wild flowers. Where there is no local supply we use M&J Seafoods who supply all of our MSC certified seafood and in turn use local small businesses to supply them. This allows for full traceability from sea to plate on all of our products. Believe it or not King Prawns do not live in local waters so we use Whitby Seafoods for MSC and local produce which source from small fisheries in Sri Lanka.
